The Arizona-Texas League had a spotty life. Renamed from the Arizona State League in 1931, it existed sporadically until 1951 when it merged with the Sunset League to form the Southwest International League. In 1952 the ATL broke off again. It was renamed to the Arizona-Mexico League in 1955, and finally folded for good in 1958.
