History is littered with defunct minor leagues, both affiliated and independent.  These are the representatives of leagues-gone-by in my collection.
Most of these leagues no longer exist but a few transitioned away from professional baseball, so I’m considering them defunct for the purposes of this website. For instance, the Appalachian League was an affiliated pro league until 2021 and then became a Collegiate Summer League, so the professional version of the league is listed here.
